project baluster (Tai Kwun)

Last year, we were thrilled to be a part of this project. Creating a smaller scaled version of the balusters which are located in Tai Kwun (180+ years of history). We hand measured the dimensions of balusters (they are all slightly different actually since every piece was hand crafted at that time). With the detailed numbers and photos, we worked on the 3d drawings and after a few versions we've chosen the final one. Then we created 40+ molds which would then be used on the events where participants would learn about the history of Tai Kwun and cast their own mini balusters which serve as tealight holders as well.
