This belongs to our “Workaholic” collection - pen tray.

While people spend 8hours+ in the offices, their desks are the little regime so people would decorate their desk or cubical with own style to establish their identities.

We always believe that something function and practical can also be artistic so we use concrete, something that not being paid much attention on, to create a pen tray with the wave top which pens can be separated.

We use grey and white cement which people would say these are cold and dull color, to create a series called “Couple”. The creations are either in more white with less grey or another way round, so these creations come in a “couple” way. As you can see when the two cement met, it doesn’t form a straight line. All our creations are handmade and we do not use any tool to keep the meeting line straight, this is a “go with the flow, go with the heart” work.
We carry through our brand concept: Our creations show the authentic color and texture of concrete with a touch of Nordic

The material is purely cement, no pigment is added. Also, no coating is applied but we sand it with care. We would like to keep the authentic look of the concrete.

• This item is a fair faced concrete item. 
• Fair faced concrete is a concrete surface that on completion of the forming process, requires no further treatment other than curing. No painting nor patching to cover up any defects. So the technique and perfect control is the key to achieve a piece of quality fair faced concrete. One need to touch and feel it in person in order to enjoy this highest level of craftsmanship.
• No worries if water just splash on it, the pen tray turns a bit dark, after a while when the pen tray is dried, you can see the original color. However this means if its tea or coffee go on it then stains lasts. 
• Tiny little bubble is expected. For those who have concern on the bubble, then we are afraid concrete may not be your choice
• Since all of our concrete creations are handmade so we cannot guarantee on exactly how the pattern goesTo clean it, simply use a clean cloth with clear water, no cleansing material is needed. Kind reminder, cleansing material often with color that the color will leave the stains on the marbling tray
